The sun was shining today, so I hurried my usual morning cleaning chores and set off for Threlkeld Quarry and mining museum.
My route took me through Brundholme woods along the side of Latrigg, then dropped down onto the old railway line. Being September it was quiet, as the schools are back.
I tracked the walk on my phone and it was 11.82 km, which is further than I’ve been for a while. So I’m tired tonight, but I’m sure it will have done me some good.
